What I Do At Work

| | Comments (2)

Sometimes, at work, I am forced to make high level decisions. Will we support a scalable architecture or will we go for the quick, easy fix? Does it make more sense to store the content in a database or merely relative links to the files on disk? How many people can sit in a meeting before critical mass is reached and the meeting suddenly becomes less about content delivery and more about people's egos?

Sometimes, though, work is about having your buddy Photoshop an image of you for your profile on a social networking website. Guess which one today was about.

For those of you not in the know, Foo Camp is about the best and the brightest minds of the digital age meeting for a weekend of impromptu technology discussions and idea exchange. It is, among other things, an amazing networking opportunity and an incredible brain trust.

And they will all think I am a Victorian-era dastardly villian. Awesome.
